YCAP Service Statistics

YCAP’s mission is to advocate for and assist persons toward self-sufficiency.”

 

While we tabulate the delivery of a services in segmented fashion, our goal is to keep our mission clearly at the center of all our operations: that of helping persons toward self-sufficiency.  The following statistics measure services.  But, we are most excited as we see people move from dependency into self-sufficiency.

 

Shelters

 

           Provided shelter for 162 families & single women

           Total shelter bed count equaled 19,698 individual nights

           2 households waiting for shelter at year’s end

 

 

Food Bank

 

           Y.C. Food Bank Network distributed 17,751 Food Boxes (a 21% increase             over last year)

    „ Distributed 1,094,154 pounds of food to Food Pantries (increase of 7%                 over last year)

           Total pounds distributed via Yamhill County Food Bank Network was                                                                  1,350,493 (an increase of 10% over last year)

          

Youth

 

             Served 1,809 different youth (unduplicated)

           Total services - 2,722

                      ! Drop-in activities: 1,233

                      ! Community outreach contacts made: 1,719

                      ! Runaway/Homeless youth served: 91

 

 

Housing

 

           41 households assisted with security deposits

           165 assisted with ongoing rent & housing assistance, along with Case

               Management services

           Total dispersed: $696,447
